Dandelion is well-known for its long history of use in traditional herbal practices worldwide from traditional Chinese medicine to Ayuderva to Arabian medicine and other folk healing modalities. A dandelion root tincture can be beneficial for various reasons as they are rich in antioxidants and may help support liver health, aid digestion, and act as a diuretic. I have made a very small batch using some spring dandelion that can be taken in juice or water as per usual- or by adding as a healthful boost to a cup of caffeinated or herbal teas such as chai or green tea.
