Nearing your dates son. It's not a tiny bit easier now than it was when you first left. Not a second goes by that I don't think of you, miss you,and love you still more each day. I used to love December,with you and your sisters birthdays and Christmas with you kids. Now,I just want curl up and sleep until mid January. Save my place baby boy. I'm coming. Just not sure win. I remember the day you made me this little "Redneck Patio" like it was yesterday. You worked your heart out on it,and Oh how I loved it. We had so many fun times, quiet talks, deep emotional discussions,we did everything sitting out there. People driving by stopping to look and say how cute it was. Friends coming by to visit and hang out. It was such a welcoming place,all made by your hands, straight from your super ginormous heart! I love you son,and I miss you more and more everyday. I still see your smile,and hear your voice,I even giggle sometimes when I pull a Mom stunt,at the thought of what you would be saying. Save my place kiddo, I'll be there. 💙

This is what happens in a parents head constantly after losing a child. I know,as I've lost both of my sons. 1 to Colon Cancer 3 days before his 34th birthday. 14 months after diagnosis,that it was already stage 4 no cure. My head and heart haven't been even close to right since. I will never be okay ever again. Don't let this be you or your child, Cancer absolutely knows no age! Say his name. Say all their names.
