Please join us in congratulating Michelle for completing the Lake Leadership Lab.

Michelle Easley, Site Facility Manager in Baldwin, recently completed the Lake Leadership Lab. Easley was among ten local business leaders selected to participate in the pilot program led by the Lake County Economic Development Alliance.

The program covered various topics, including Personality & Emotional Intelligence, Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution, Leading Effective Meetings and Projects, and Time and Stress Management.

Amie Fenton, a dental hygienist at Family Health Care’s clinic in Baldwin, recently received the Oral Health Champion Award from the Michigan Oral Health Coalition.

Fenton was recognized for her efforts to secure a $4,000 grant from the Lake County Community Foundation to purchase electric toothbrush kits for students who use dental services at the school-based health center at Baldwin Community Schools, to motivate the children to improve their oral health.

The Oral Health Champion Award celebrates those who go above and beyond to promote oral health in their communities.

In 2023 alone:
✔️ 3M patients received diabetes care — 70% reached A1c control
✔️ 5.7M were treated for high blood pressure — 65% achieved blood pressure control
✔️ 9M received obesity care — 72% of youth got screened and counseled on nutrition & activity
