Care isn’t just about tending to a senior’s medical and physical needs, it’s about creating an environment where they can thrive emotionally, socially and spiritually.

For our residents requiring continuous nursing care, Samaritas Senior Living of Cadillac provides physical, emotional and spiritual support. Residents are given the opportunity to be as independent as possible with the assurance of care from our licensed staff members.

If you’re recovering from injury, illness or surgery, Samaritas Senior Living of Cadillac provides exemplary rehabilitation therapy on both a short-term and long-term basis. Our rehabilitation area provides a spacious environment, the high-quality equipment and talented therapists to assist our residents in their therapy sessions. Upon completion of your therapy, our rehabilitation team will provide you with a comprehensive discharge plan for your return home.

Rehabilitation therapy includes:

Physical Therapy: Assess and address joint motion, muscle strength and endurance, and performance of functional activities to increase the patient's strength, relieve pain and help them regain use of affected limbs.

Occupational Therapy: Help patients work on the skills they need for the activities of daily living, develop customized treatment programs, provide home evaluations with adaptation recommendations and offer guidance for caregivers.

Speech Therapy: Evaluate and treat patients with communication, memory, eating and swallowing problems, while helping them find an effective way to communicate.

When a loved one is struggling with memory loss due to Alzheimer’s, dementia or other cognitive impairments, it is a delicate balance trying to find the right care. At Senior Living of Cadillac, we have a special neighborhood designed exclusively to meet the needs of seniors with memory loss through our Memory Care. Our staff are trained in the CMS Hand-in-Hand Person-Centered Dementia Care. Using this model of care ensures meaningful days for those with memory disorders by making every day consistently reassuring, enjoyable and secure.
