Over the past year, WVU Medicine has made meaningful strides across the Ohio Valley. We’ve welcomed dozens of new physicians and expanded key service lines to better meet the needs of our communities. We’ve also invested millions in new technology and facility upgrades—modernizing our spaces and advancing our capabilities to ensure our patients receive the highest quality care close to home.

The DAISY Award recognizes nurses who demonstrate exceptional compassion and dedication in caring for patients, supporting families, and uplifting colleagues. Throughout Nurses Week, we are honored to showcase and recognize several of our outstanding nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and community.

Nurses may be nominated for the DAISY Award by patients, families, and colleagues, with recipients selected through a blind review process conducted by a Harrison Community Hospital committee and guided by the DAISY Foundation.
