As of March 1st 2026, there will be no requirement for follow-up visits every 6 months at God's Herb Medical Clinic. Anyone that has certified with God's Herb Medical Clinic will be required to have an annual visit for re-certification, either in person or by telehealth. This is a recent change to the program. The cost of the initial visit is $150.00 + $25.00 Medical Card Fee. Annual visits are $100.00 + $25.00 Medical Card Fee.

If you plan to change to another provider for medicinal cannabis, you will have to complete an initial visit with that provider per Kentucky Medical Cannabis program rules.

We are pleased to announce that God's Herb Medical Clinic will begin offering Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exams starting November 22, 2025. These exams will be available by appointment only on Mondays and Saturdays.

The cost for the DOT exam is a flat fee of $100.00, payable by cash or card ONLY. If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Savings Account (FSA), these can be used for payment. As part of our service, we will submit your physical examination results directly to the Department of Transportation. Please note, however, that it is the patient's responsibility to create a portal account with My CDL at drive.ky.gov and upload the required approval card for the state of Kentucky.

If your employer requires a drug test as part of the DOT exam process, we will order this test for you. The cost of the drug test will be the responsibility of your company.

To schedule your DOT exam, please call us at the number below. If no one is available to take your call, please leave a message and we will return your call to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.

The God’s Herb Medical Clinic Team had a great time learning more about medicinal cannabis in Denver Colorado at the Medical Cannabis Conference! We also got to visit Garden of the Gods, and Mother Cabrini’s Shrine. The views were breathtaking. I would love to go back and explore more of the West!

Good morning! I have been made aware that the Post Dispensary in Beaver Dam will be opening on October 31st! Follow them on Facebook!

The state has now posted Find a Dispensary on the Kentucky Medical Program page. It does have the addresses of where they will be located, not all are on here yet. These are future locations once they open, there are NO legal medical cannabis dispensaries open in Kentucky right now.

Please note: as of May 29, 2025, no medical cannabis dispensaries are open. Updates on availability will be found on this page.​

Yesterday, I spoke with Brian from the state regarding the change of our phone number at God’s Herb Medical Clinic. Our phone number is now correct on the Find a Practitioner site for the Kentucky Cannabis Program.

Hey Everyone, We recently had to change our phone number due to the inability of patients to send messages that contain the word cannabis or ma*****na, so our previous phone service shut it down. Our new number is 270-484-7817. The state has not updated this on the Find a Practitioner site, although this was arranged over two weeks ago. Please share with your friends and family members that we are still here! I will be happy to make your appointment! The requirements for a Kentucky Medical card must be met by having a condition that the state of Kentucky approves. Medical insurance will not pay for the visit because cannabis is still federally illegal, even though approved in our state for medicinal purposes. The cost of the visit is $150.00, payable by cash or card. If you have a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending Account, you can use those to pay for the visit. I have to have medical records for the past year for evaluation during your visit. Once I certify you, then you will register with the Kentucky Medical Cannabis site, and pay $25.74 for the card. It may take 14-30 days before your card is approved, the state of Kentucky completes a background check on everyone to ensure they have no disqualifying felonies that would prevent them getting a card. I must have your records for the visit, if we don’t we will have to reschedule to another date until we receive them. I will need your date of birth, cell number, and email address to send documents that are required for our clinic to fill out. I am happy to talk to you today, if you would like, as well.
