Grief Changes Us—But It Doesn’t Have to Define Us
None of us ever want to be welcomed into the “club” of loss. It’s a club no one asks to join, yet life has a way of bringing us there. I recently had to “welcome” a dear friend who lost a parent, and it broke my heart because I know that pain all too well. I’ve lost both of my parents, and every time I see someone step into that space of grief, I wish I could shield them from it.
But here’s what I’ve learned: grief never truly goes away, but we can learn to carry it differently. Healing isn’t about “moving on”—it’s about moving forward with love, memories, and meaning still intact.
As a grief coach, I walk beside you through your unique journey, meeting you where you are—not where others think you “should” be. I help those who feel stuck in grief find freedom, peace, and, yes, joy again.
And grief isn’t just about death. Loss comes in many forms—divorce, losing a pet, a life-altering diagnosis, children leaving home, career changes, and so much more. Any loss can shake your world and leave you feeling lost.
