🌟 Board Member Spotlight: Dr. Jennifer “Gigi” Kendrick 🌟

Meet Dr. Jennifer “Gigi” Kendrick, Dentist and Owner of Dental Associates of Southwest Georgia .

As a dedicated business owner, Dr. Kendrick believes deeply in the power of local businesses to drive community growth and resilience. Through her involvement with the Cairo-Grady County Chamber of Commerce, she enjoys being part of initiatives that strengthen our local economy, foster relationships among business leaders, and help shape a thriving environment for current and future entrepreneurs.

Originally from Covington, Georgia, Gigi admits she didn’t plan to live or work in small-town South Georgia — but that changed quickly. “I have never felt more at home and appreciated than I do in Cairo,” she shares. “People take care of each other here.

Her heart for service and community shines through in everything she does. “There’s so much potential here, and I think we’re all excited to see Cairo grow and our businesses thrive.”

💡 Fun Fact: Dr. Kendrick originally planned to become a high school math teacher — until her mom (a teacher herself!) talked her out of it. She’s glad she listened!

Dr. Leggett, Dr. Kendrick and Dr. Willis got the opportunity to travel to Pennsylvania to see the Benco Showroom (our supply company).

We learned so much, got to see new equipment, learn and see the hsitory of denstistry, eat ginormous cheese sticks, see a deer farm, learn about the Amish lifestyle, fellowship, see beautiful scenery, and had many many laughs. What a great trip with some great people! We are blessed to work with people who feel like family 🥰

Last week Dr. Leggett, Dr. Kendrick, Amber, Joy, and Juan got the chance to volunteer on the Georgia Baptist Dental Bus. A few of the dentists in our area were called to serve each night and it was a big success!

The Dental Bus has three chairs and we were able to see patients who desperately needed dental care. We did extractions and even drained abscesses! It was so cool! 😎 😂 Dr. Kendrick even got on camera for an interview 😳

We beleive that God calls us to be stewards of our blessings and talents. It’s always fun to give back to our own community!
