The Art of Physique, The Sport of Fitness That’s Your Art
It always amazes me that the notion of working on your physique, with the necessary combination of weight-training, cardio, nutrition and select dietary supplements is passed off as something only “vain” people do. The truth is, when it comes to following a structured exercise and nutrition plan, the prime motivator for most is improving the form of their body. You know, a bit more muscle, and a lot less fat, which creates a better shaped physique. If most people seek out exercise and nutrition to change the form of their body, why aren’t more people taking up working on their physique? More than likely the notion of working on your physique immediately brings to mind too much work and commitment because you think I’m talking about the extreme images currently passed off in muscle magazines as bodybuilding, which isn’t healthy, or attractive. That’s nothing like what I’m talking about. That’s why I call working on your physique, an art, which means taking a mindful approach to changing the shape of your body.
