PRP (platelet rich plasma) for the scalp in both men and women is a great way to preserve and encourage healthy hair growth. We drew our patient’s blood and extracted the PRP with a centrifuge to inject the resulting liquid gold into her scalp skin, just at the level of the hair follicle so that the platelet-derived growth factors can do their magic!  Fine, miniaturized follicles can be stimulated into full, thicker “terminal” hairs, an odd term to define thick, shiny, larger caliber hairs.  This procedure is recommended as a series and the results of new hair growth and preservation last months to years afterward. Maintenance treatments are recommended. 💉✨
