This year, I knew I wanted to do some big things with my business.

My amazing husband worked his butt off during his long break to give me “my garage” (it’s literally mine now—I took over… just like his house when I moved in… poor guy 🙊😂).

This man built me a space where I can truly grow. A space to host workshops, create, and blast K-Love while I make products. It’s honestly a dream come true, and I don’t take a second of it for granted.(it’s not done, but it’s getting close!)

Another goal I set this year was getting my products into surrounding towns—and let me tell you… when you speak it into existence and believe, doors really do open.

The NoCo LoCo Homestead Co. will be in Cambridge and Marietta, at two of the newest businesses. They are absolutely gorgeous, and I LOVE their vision and what they’re bringing to their communities.

I’m already so blessed to be in Caldwell and Byesville, and seasonally in Reinersville and Senecaville.

Now I’m thinking… I just need to get to Woodsfield 🤔🤔🤔

This year I’ll be doing fewer vendor events, focusing more on farmers markets, retail locations, and LOTS of workshops and collaborations.

My heart is full. My head is spinning. And I guess my break is officially over—because this weekend it’s back to the kitchen to start making products again.

✨ Big things happen when small businesses come together. ✨

The NoCo LoCo Homestead Co. has officially teamed up with Black Gold Meats—and I truly believe this collaboration is going to be something special.

We met through From Scratch Co-op, set up next to each other all season. I first got to know Halle’s mom, then I met Halle—a twenty-something entrepreneur who absolutely BLEW me away. What she has accomplished at such a young age is nothing short of inspiring. I’m honestly in awe of her drive, passion, and work ethic.

So when she asked me to partner up, I couldn’t say yes fast enough.

I take so much pride in bringing the very best products to my customers, and with this collaboration, I can confidently say—you’re getting the best of the best from two small businesses who truly care about quality, integrity, and community.

🍞 This workshop led by Alyssa Harold of Nourish Cottage will cover the BASIC BEGINNER STEPS of what it takes to create your starter and keep it ALIVE!

😍Take home your very own starter and begin the journey of sourdough bread making - a true art!

📍Class will be held January 28th - 5:00-7:30pm and will be located at the Crossroads Branch of The Guernsey County Library.

🥰Alyssa is a seasoned class leader who routinely holds sourdough workshops near her home of Dennison, OH.

The last couple of weeks have been intentionally quiet for The NoCo LoCo Homestead Co.

My body needed rest, and my heart needed time to reset.

January and February are my natural downtime—a season to slow down, reflect, and prepare both myself and my business for the 2026 season. During this time, I’ll be focusing more on the business side of things and less on constant product making.

I will still be making a few staples:
✨ Glow Facial Oil
✨ Magnesium Spray
✨ Natural Deodorant
…and I’ll also be quietly developing a few new products behind the scenes.

You can still find select NoCo LoCo items stocked at Monarch Mercantile in Byesville and Bloom & Bliss in Caldwell.

If you’ve messaged me about products—thank you for your patience. I’ll be working through messages and orders this week.

This holiday season was full. We soaked up time with our 5 kids, 3 bonus kids, and 2 grandkids—and we’re anxiously awaiting our third grandbaby this month 🤍 We sent one of our boys back to Italy to finish his deployment and another back to North Carolina for work. Add in missing loved ones who are no longer with us, and it’s been a very emotional month.

This mom needs a little time to rest, reflect, and renew.
My body is asking me to slow down, and I’m listening—especially with a little bug trying to sneak in.

So if I’m out of a product you’re waiting on, please know I will get to you—just maybe not this week.

Thank you for supporting me, encouraging me, and loving this little business this year. I’m still completely blown away by what it has grown into, and I’m beyond grateful for every one of you 🤍
