Good Monday morning, even though it came an hour earlier than any of us wanted! It's not like life already comes at us a million miles an hour, but once a year we decide to speed it up an hour. As much as we all dislike daylight saving time, let's seriously think about our time. How much time do we actually waste each day, week, month, and year on just stupid things? For example, TV shows or video games that don't improve our lives one bit at all, but we dedicate hours each and every week and don't think twice about it. Why is this? My simple guess is because of choice. It is because we choose television and video games. Maybe let's make better choices with our time and choose something that will matter and make a difference. Choose to spend that time with loved ones that God has blessed you with to be part of your life. Because He will send you people in your life that you never saw coming, that you can never spend too much time with. Or people that you've already lost and what you wouldn't do to still have them here? People that you still wish you could go to for sage life advice and friendship. RIP, my dear friends Jarrid and Pat, know that you're missed daily. Your advice on life and friendship got me through times that I never thought possible. So let's not complain about losing an hour once a year when we all waste more time than that each and every week. Instead, choose to take that time and spend it with the ones we will miss when they're no longer here. Because God has us here for what honestly only feels like a minute. Enjoy it with the people that mean the most to you before it is all gone. Choose your time wisely and make the utmost of it before it's done, and we go to meet our Heavenly Father. Don't complain about daylight saving and instead choose it to be a yearly reminder to make better choices with your time and the relationships that mean the most to us. Remember, God chose you to be here, so let's honor Him with that great blessing and make wise choices with the time He has blessed you with! 🙏
