Hi everyone. My name is Wayne and God put it on my heart to share my testimony with you tonight. In 2010 we ( my late wife and I ) lost our home due to some poor decisions we made. We had over financed our home and when she got sick we could no longer keep up the payments. I can still remember the realtors driving by the house like they were casing the place. On day I went out into the front yard kneeled down and gave it all to God. The next realtor that came by I went out into the yard and said" You guys are like a pack of vultures circling for the kill." She ended up finding a buyer that let us rent back the home until after my wife passed away in 2013. A year later the depression was really starting to get to me. God gave me a vision to make a toy wood plane with no pictures or plans. I went out into the extra bedroom where I had a little shop and made the plane. I showed it to my grandkids and they loved it. I made a few for them. In Dec 2014 God put it on my heart to ask the Salvation Army if they could use some for Christmas. They said sure make us 30. I only had a few weeks but God allowed and pushed me to do it. When I got done I posted that I did not want to work at Albertson's anymore and that I wanted to make toys. The next spring I really worked on my credit and saved enough were I was able to buy a newer and better home. Four months after I bought the new home I was told I had colon cancer. I underwent surgery and had the tumor removed and started chemo. In Jan of 2016 I spent 8 days in the hospital because of the chemo. That's when I decided to retire. Even though I was only 59 and only had half of my late wife's Social Security and a small pension. God once again called me to do a leap of Faith. For a year my expenses exceeded my income but God made it work. I continued to make toys for charity. I remember telling my pastor that I felt God called me to make toys. He said " Go for it." When I turned 62 I was able to get my own Social Security. Now with living on a budget I can live better than I ever have. Share my story about how God still works miracles. Check out my shop page at Wayne H's Workshop. Praise be to God.

Wood shop in my garage

I had to retire early from Albertson’s due to health issues. I have a small woodshop in my garage and I do a lot of charity work.
