Mayo Clinic researchers are seeking generally healthy individuals who are either obese or lean, between the ages of 18-65, to participate in research study to better understand how different fat depots respond to the medication insulin. Study participation includes 1 screening visit, and 1 overnight study visit in the Clinical Research Trial Unit at Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN. Participating in this study involves blood draws, femoral and arterial line placement, and fat biopsies. Remuneration will be offered.
