Presently the Medical Director at James E. Creek M.D., Dr. Creek Weight Loss and Diabetes Centro De Salud Sin Fronteras in Calexico, California, Dr. Creek is an experienced physician with an extensive background in general practice, preventative sports medicine, diabetes, and weight management. He is currently engaged in clinical research for the treatment of diabesity. As well, he is also the Lab Director of GCAM Plasma Center in Calexico, Ca.
Prior to this position, Dr. Creek was the medical director at International Industrial Medical Center, where he directed this private medical practice of occupational medicine, sports medicine, and general practice. Concurrently with both of these positions, Dr. Creek has been the medical director at Innovative Medical Foods, Inc. Previously, Dr. Creek worked at ReadyCare Clinics in urgent care in San Diego, California.
Dr. Creek is also concurrently the founder and medical director of Dr. Creek Weight Loss and has been managing this center for two decades. The center offers multi-level exercise testing, body composition analysis, nutritional surveys, counseling, physical therapy, and injury rehabilitation. His preventative services include weight control, diabetes and cholesterol treatment, coronary risk factor intervention, smoking cessation programs, and supervised fitness programs.
Having held several additional positions as an occupational and primary care physician in the southern California region, Dr. Creek has not only enhanced his expertise in his field but has also developed a strong relationship with his patients and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Creek received his Medical Doctorate from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
