From Farm to Table: A Day of Southern Charm! ​

What an unforgettable adventure we had! After an incredible morning at Mr. Jan's Riverbend Farm, where we felt the deep connection to family history and met the sweet baby calves, our journey led us to the local destination known as The Cookie Jar Cafe in Dunlap, TN. ​The food was absolutely amazing, but the real magic was on the porch! Our residents soaked up the fresh country mountain air and sunshine, rocking in their chairs while enjoying the scenic view. It was a beautiful time of fellowship, sharing laughter and conversations with each other, locals, and fellow travelers. ​Moments like these—connecting with nature, history, and community—are what truly nourish the soul. We are already looking forward to our next adventure!

A Day on the Discovery Trail! ​

What an incredibly special day we had traveling to Dunlap, TN, to visit Mr. Jan's Riverbend Farm! The journey was stunning, with the beautiful mountain leaves reminding us of the seasons changing. At this 350-acre working cattle farm, we were welcomed into a piece of history. ​More than just seeing the sweet baby calves and their mommas in the nursery pasture, we learned about the rich, inspiring legacy of Mr. Jan's family. It was a profound connection to the enduring spirit of home and hard work that has sustained this land for generations. We left with our hearts full, celebrating the beautiful memories made and the deep roots that nourish the human spirit.

Sweet memories from a recent Snacktivity! Our "Pathways to Discovery" neighborhood had a great time whipping up a delicious No-Bake Chocolate Cherry Cheesecake Dip. We mixed a creamy base, added a bright cherry topping, and finished it with a decadent chocolate drizzle! It's so much fun to get creative in the kitchen! 🍒🍫🍰
