Green Clinic would like to introduce you to Calhoun’s newest Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Johnathan Baines grew up in Shreveport. He attended Louisiana Tech University where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees. He then went home to Shreveport and attended LSU where he completed his medical degree in 2007. While in medical school, he met and married his wife, Anna Hannibal, a Ruston native. They then moved to Tyler, Texas, where Dr. Baines completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Baines’ goal as a physician had always been to practice in a small community where he could know and interact with his patients on a more informal basis and take care of their overall health. When Green Clinic offered him the opportunity to open a clinic in Calhoun, he knew that he had found the right fit. He brought Anna and their two children back to the area and opened his new clinic on November 1, 2010. Look at the FAQs in the Notes section for more information about the clinic.
