The lovely ladies from First Baptist Church continued their annual August tradition of making home made ice cream for our residents. None of us can remember how many years the ladies have been doing this but we remember them doing it "up on the hill" . So this has been a delicious end to the summer season for our residents for a very long time

White River HealthCare and Rehab has an opening on the weekends for a dietary aide. Hours are Sat and Sunday each weekend 5am to 7pm. Duties include making desserts and drinks, cleaning, stocking, interacting with residents and other staff, ect. Part time position with opportunity to be full time. What an honor it is to care for those who have cared for us so many times! If you know Lavonne Cantrell, you know that this sweet lady can cook like nobody's business. Lavonne worked at the hospital for years in dietary; it's safe to say she has fed most of Calico Rock at one time or another during her stint there. Lavonne broke her hip in April and came to White River Healthcare for inpatient rehab. After working with our trained staff and physical therapy, she was excited to be able to return home last Thursday. We truly care for those you care for.
