Vitamin C is a vital antioxidant. It enhances immune function, is important in the formation of collagen, the basis of connective tissue, skin, ligaments, vertebral discs, cartilage, capillary walls, bones and teeth. It is also known as the anti stress nutrient — it supports the production of certain hormone and neurotransmitters related to stress in the brain (norepinephrine, serotonin).
This powerful vitamin also stimulates and supports adrenal and thyroid function, improves absorption of iron, decreases inflammation, involved in cholesterol metabolism, has anti-mold properties, and prevents oxidative stress and aging!
