Evolve Yoga + Wellness offers in-person and virtual yoga, pilates, barre, meditation, and more. Rooted in tradition, powered by alignment.

Repeat what grounds you 🕉️☯️ Evolve Yoga + Wellness is a dynamic, interdisciplinary community welcoming all styles of yoga and other mind/body modalities. We believe there is a type of yoga or movement accessible to every body, regardless of age, shape or flexibility. Our goal is to promote and enhance health and well-being within our beautiful Southern Maryland community. Evolve offers high quality instruction, classes, private sessions and consultations in Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, Personal Training, Massage Therapy, Pranassage and other healing mind/body modalities. As a Registered Yoga School through Yoga Alliance, Evolve also periodically offers workshops and trainings for current Registered Yoga Teachers and yogis looking to further their education and exploration of their own practice.

Shannon Cody returns for another Yin Yoga Through the Seasons: Winter Edition❄️
Winter is the most yin time of year: a season of stillness, reflection, and quiet renewal. Nature turns inward to rest and restore, and Yin yoga invites us to do the same to soften, listen, and nourish our inner reserves.
Aligned with the Water element and the Kidney + Bladder meridians, this practice supports vitality, calm, and deep inner wisdom. Through grounding postures, mindful breath, and spacious stillness, we’ll replenish energy, soothe the nervous system, and honor winter’s invitation to pause.

As the busy holiday season approaches, it’s easy to get swept in the rush of to do lists, travel plans, and endless responsibilities. Amid all the noise and excitement, don’t forget to slow down, breathe, and take time for yourself.

Self care isn’t a luxury, it’s necessity, especially during the most hectic months of the year. Whether you’re managing work stress, family gatherings, or simply feeling the pace of life quicken, finding moments of stillness can make all the difference.

That’s why we invite you to join Chip Guffey for a free community meditation session held every month on the second Friday @ 7 PM. These sessions are open to everyone, no experience needed. It’s a wonderful opportunity to quiet the mind, center your thoughts, and reconnect with a sense of calm and balance.

And as we move into the season of giving, we’re excited to share that our Pay It Forward Board is up and live in the studio! It’s a beautiful way for our community to share kindness, connection, and generosity. Repeat what grounds you 🤎

We also have a basket set up front for a food drive. If you’re able, please consider donating non-perishable items to help support local families this holiday season.

I can’t do yoga, I can’t even touch my toes I hear this all the time, and honestly… that’s exactly why you should come to yoga! Yoga isn’t about how far you can reach or how flexible you are. It’s about showing up for yourself, connecting with your breath, and finding presence in the moment.
You don’t need to be able to twist, bend, or balance perfectly. You just need to be willing to move, breathe, and listen to your body. Flexibility, strength, and balance are results of yoga, not requirements.
So if you’ve been waiting to feel “ready,” this is your reminder: you already are. 💫 Come as you. The mat will meet you exactly where you’re at.

Hey Mamas, this one’s for you! Every Wednesday at 5:15PM join Shannon while Sona is on maternity leave.

✨ Align to Motherhood, pre + postnatal yoga

A space for mamas in every stage: pregnant, newly postpartum, or somewhere in between. This class blends gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation to help you build strength, ease tension, and feel more at home in your body.

We’ll move through grounding hip openers and squats to prepare for birth, and restorative postnatal flows to reconnect, recover, and find your energy again. But more than that, it’s a community. A place to share, support, and simply be with other women who get it.

Babies under 6 months (or before they’re crawling!) are always welcome - - we love having their sweet energy in the room. 💛
