April is Occupational Therapy Month, and we’re excited to spotlight our founder and owner, Melanie! 💙

With over 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Mel is passionate about helping individuals reach their fullest potential through compassionate, individualized care. She takes a holistic, family-centered approach—meeting each person where they are and supporting their journey toward independence.

Mel founded Personalized Therapy, LLC in 2006 with a vision of providing meaningful, integrated services to the community. She also had a unique goal: to create a space where the entire family could be supported—allowing both children and adults to receive care in the same clinic. She continues to inspire both clients and staff every day through her leadership and dedication.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys traveling, a great plate of nachos, and catching up on her favorite TV shows.

Kara brings energy, compassion, and dedication to every session. She’s passionate about educating parents and caregivers while helping her clients reach their goals and gain independence.

It’s been an exciting time for Kara—she recently got married and is now Kara Bean, and she just bought a new home! 🏡

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Pups, and going on boat rides.

When she’s not at work, Becca enjoys staying active with volleyball, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her dog, Malibu 🐾

Inclusive Soccer kicks off in ONE week! ⚽️

By popular demand—Inclusive Soccer returns!! ⚽

Everyone deserves to experience the joy of the game! Our inclusive soccer program welcomes participants of all abilities — including those with intellectual, emotional, social, or physical differences.

Program Details:
🗓️ Dates: 04/29-06/03
🕒 Day: Wednesday Evenings
📍 Location: Personalized Functional Training Center – Hollywood, MD
🥅Indoor & outdoor turf sessions
⏰ Ages 4–8: 5:45–6:30pm & Ages 9–13: 6:30–7:15pm
💰 Cost: $150 per participant
💰$75 per buddy participant: a buddy participant is a sibling or peer who can model appropriate play and interactions
