Callaway District Hospital is currently looking for a Radiology Technologist in Callaway, Nebraska.
Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Location: Callaway, Nebraska
Facility: Callaway District Hospital and Medical Clinic
Reports To: Radiology Manager
Position Summary
Provides diagnostic radiological imaging procedures to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients as requested by the Healthcare Provider
Key Responsibilities
• Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for radiographic diagnosis as requested by the healthcare provider.
• Prepares room and equipment for radiology exam.
• Prepares patient for procedures.
• Follows established radiation safety policies and procedures to protect patients and staff and performs in a manner that ensures patient safety.
• Performs patient documentation and completes necessary office duties.
• Communicates effectively.
Qualifications
Required:
• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent combination of Diagnostic Imaging education and experience
• Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Currently Nebraska License
• Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
