❤️ Love is in the air as we gear up for Valentine’s Day! We enjoyed a lovely Happy Hour with JaCi Leigh singing classic love songs, followed by a fun Name That Love Tune game yesterday. Today, our residents got creative making adorable heart crafts to hang on their doors. Music, memories, creativity, and sweet moments are making this season extra special. 🎶💝✨

Since Frank C. Mars introduced the Snickers bar in 1930, we celebrated with a sweet treat—Snickers Apple Salad! 🍏🍫
Our residents had a delicious time, and here’s a fun fact: the Snickers bar was named after the Mars family’s horse!

Recipe ⬇️

Whisk together a 3.4 oz box of instant vanilla pudding mix with ¾ cup of milk. Fold in an 8 oz container of Cool Whip. Refrigerate while you chop 6 Granny Smith apples and 6 Snickers bars into small pieces. Stir the apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture until well combined.

We added extra Cool Whip and vanilla pudding because our apples were large, so if your apples are big, I recommend using only 4–5 apples.

Then we drizzled caramel on top 🤤
