AlmaVia of Camarillo provides assisted living and memory care for seniors in a warm, intimate environment that celebrates the dignity and individuality of each resident. From our pet-friendly environment to our onsite beauty salon and library, our beautiful campus houses a vibrant community based on friendship, warmth, and dignity. We are proud to have had the same owner/operator and committed, compassionate staff since our inception 10 years ago.

Following favorite teams and players provides cognitive stimulation through tracking statistics, remembering player names, and engaging in strategic discussions about games. Plus, the excitement of game day adds energy and anticipation that makes every gathering memorable!

The fluid movements of mixing and pouring paint provide gentle exercise for hands and arms while supporting fine motor coordination. Residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care enjoyed a delicious pasta bar prepared by the very talented Culinary Director. The day was filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Italy – from beautiful Italian-themed decorations to the joyful melodies of Italian music.

This event provided a creative and social experience, allowing residents to connect with each other while enjoying art, food, and music. Events like this are meaningful because they stimulate the senses, encourage social interaction, and bring joy and engagement into everyday life.

The soothing tones of the instruments created a calming environment where everyone could unwind and feel at peace.

Sound baths are especially beneficial for older adults — they can help reduce stress, improve mood, promote relaxation, and even support better sleep. The residents loved the experience and left feeling refreshed and centered. Everyone is so grateful for these special moments of wellness in the community.
