During a Reiki treatment the receiver lies on a Reiki table (similar to a massage table), fully clothed, and relaxes as the treatment takes place. The practitioner uses light touch for a series of hand positions around the body. During the treatment it is common for the receiver to feel heat, warmth, or cold. You may see different colors, or have other sensory experiences. Some people don't feel anything, but experience deep relaxation and peace. ✨💜✨

Our brain believes what we tell it and holds it as truth, so if we fill our thoughts with negative ideas about ourselves our brain holds us to this truth. Our self esteem plummets and we feel awful.

The beauty of the brain though is that if we switch our thinking and start thinking and speaking positively about ourselves, it will become our new truth and we will believe it. It isn't always easy to keep a positive head space, but know that if you ever find yourself thinking that you aren't good enough, you can immediately switch your thinking and remind yourself that YOU ARE. ✨💜✨
