We are unprecedented times for our generation. There is no neutrality here that doesn’t pose a dangerous risk, and a profound ethical and moral failing for us, generations past and future.

People are suffering, and as such we all suffer. Research has profoundly concluded that even if you are not directly impacted by inequity, participating in a system that is founded upon this and stokes it, cost you too (See Whitehall Studies). We are in a collective, acknowledged or not, and we have collective responsibilities.

This is a time for clarity, responsibility, and action.

This word has been more prominent for me as a Mantra as this last year ended…and feels more crucial and pressing as this new year starts.

While the discussion of the importance of living authentically, is not new, it stands to reason that many of us may struggle to figure out what that actually means or feels like…And as we start this new year with a sense of uncertainty, hope, and for many of us, a foreboding fear of the larger sociopolitical currents…staying connected to ourselves and grounded within ourselves will be necessary.

Identifying your values, commitments, and collective contributions to your communities of choice, is a critical step in moving towards aligning your daily life with your beliefs and ideals.

For those who believe in the power of energies and manifestation, it stands to reason that what we hold up, and what we hold close, will move us and those around us. Attempting to stand in an integration of ourselves that reflects our truth as we define it across all the domains and relationships of our lives is what I am referring to as alignment. The refinement of this takes time and self-compassion to cultivate, but I wish this for us all.

Here’s to a powerful and fulfilling year ahead ♥️
