Student Mental Health Liaisons

Who we are: Student Mental Health Liasons (SMHLs) are your friends, classmates, and support network at Harvard College. We are an official peer-education group that communicates between Harvard's undergraduate student body and Counselling and Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Different circumstances brought us to this work but we do it because we care about you. Never hesitate to reach out, to share a meal, or to just sit down and talk with an SMHL. What we do: SMHLs work to raise awareness surrounding mental health issues and resources on campus. You might have seen us at freshman workshops, Your Mental Health Matters programming, and on email lists! We deeply value the ability to connect with our community in the most welcoming, helpful, and impactful way possible. In all we do, we try to bring resources closer to you, making them more visible and more readily available with the hopes of breaking the stigma around mental health.
