RIP Brothers

Our union is mourning the loss of two of our Brothers after an incident on a job site this afternoon. We put a strong emphasis on prioritizing our efforts to ensure the safety of our members. It devastates us that our members and their families were impacted by this unfortunate incident.

We will do all that we can to provide comfort and support to those affected.

We would like to thank emergency responders and others on-site who did all they could for our Brothers.

We are saddened to share the passing of former apprenticeship Instructor Frank Petkiewich Jr.
Frank was the first instructor hired at our Millbury training facility. Countless members came through his classes over the years and benefited from his knowledge, patience, and commitment to the trade.
Frank joined the United States Marine Corps in 1966 and after his service was honorably discharged as a sergeant. Frank also served as recording secretary for local 40 (now 328) for many years.
He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Frank William Petkiewich, Jr, a devoted and loving husband to Andrea, loving father to his daughter Carrie and son-in-law Jeff, peacefully passed away after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 78 years old. Frank also known as Fran, Franny, Uncle Bee, and Papa P was born in the
