Scabby the Rat was on hand with over 50 concerned Union Members and protest organizers to inform the public of Tufts University’s decision to cut construction costs on the backs of local trades workers by hiring contractors who undercut area standards on pay and benefits while charging some of the highest tuition costs in the county.

🗣NEWS: is excited to announce that our very own Cheryl Lieteau is starring in Tough As Nails season 5! 💪🏽 Sister Lieteau is a member of Carpenters Local 328, and has worked as a journey level carpenter, foreman and superintendent throughout her 30 year plus union career. She has also worked as an instructor and coordinator with the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund, and is currently an instructor with Building Pathways pre-apprenticeship program in Worcester and Boston.

UBC Second General President Tom Flynn considered Brother Dow a close friend and mentor. He pointed to the practical and constructive way Dow approached his work with the union as an example he still tries to emulate.
