Fish Pose (Matsyasana). Helps promote freer articulation in upper spine, chest, and ribs. Also try Passive Fish, laying atop a rolled blanket or bolster under your shoulder blades. Inhale - expand; exhale - release. Come out slowly and observe the energy signature. Follow with Child Pose (Balasana), and maybe Rabbit Pose.

A few essential yoga poses practiced daily can improve flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. These movements strengthen the body while keeping joints mobile and muscles relaxed. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, incorporating these poses into your routine helps build resilience, balance, and mindfulness. Just a few minutes each day can make a lasting impact on how you move and feel 🌅

Here is a new sequence I developed for Spring and sketched out. You can practice over the March break. Repeat Right Side and then left side. Do as many sets as is comfortable. Find a slow mindful pace with conscious breathing: 1. Tadasana to standing arch; 2. Move forward to pike position; 3. Sweep arms behind (diver), shift weight to left leg, and rise up lifting right leg; 4. Bring R leg back extending through heel, and arm forward for the balance; 5. Step R foot down and raise arms W-1; 6. Open arms and hips to W-2; 7. Pinwheel arms to face left. Place righ elbow on knee and palms together on chest. 8. Twist up and to left in lunge; 9. Place hands on floor & step back to DD; 10. Sweep R leg up for 3-legged Dog; 11. Sweep leg forward to Pigeon pose; 12. Shift back to Child; 13. Curl toes under and come to crouch. Then hop up into Squat; Turn feet parallel and raise hips into Uttanasana - forward fold; 14. Roll up to Standing Arch; keep chest open and move into Cactus Arms; Elbows flow forward and hands to Namaste; 17. Release arms down to sides - Passive standing (after full set). Let me know what you experience 🙏
