Highly sensitive people were often kids who needed to be hyper vigilant to stay safe with a caregiver who was under resourced, short tempered, disorganized, alcoholic, and/or struggled with mental health issues.

Staying attuned as an HSP might feel like a burden but it doesn’t have to be.

You just need a perspective tweak and skills to strengthen your emotional and psychological boundaries.

Attend my webinar this Sat, 5/2 from 12-2EST on Zoom. You’ll get the recording, a workbook, and a new way of seeing the world.

Your Trauma is Like an AI Storage House

We all have moments when anxiety creeps in, often driven by our fixation on things beyond our control. We’re quick to plan every possible scenario—plan B, C, DE, and FAB—but here’s the truth: life is about living in the moment, not storing past trauma.

Remind yourself: You are not an AI storage house. You are a human being, meant to experience life, process what comes your way, and move forward with clarity.

Let go of the need to prove anything to anyone, especially yourself.

Stay present—because that’s the only thing we truly have.
If you'd like to learn how to do it, join my next live webinar this Sat, 5/2 from 12-2pm EST.

Are you in a place of hopelessness? Ever wake up with the thought: "What's the point?!"

The point is this: We never know if the seeds we plant today will bear fruit tomorrow.

Let's take my church’s journey to house the houseless as an example. The neighbors sued us for converting part of our building into a shelter. Yes, we faced setbacks, lawsuits, false accusations, and doubt. But we kept showing up in our faith, believing that what we were doing mattered—even when we didn’t know for sure if it would succeed.

Two years later, not only did we win the legal battle, but we also set precedent for other churches and organizations to follow. Now, not only will our church provide support for 26 people, our trials and tribulations made it possible for other institutions to do the same.

Here is the lesson: Even when obstacles feel insurmountable, lean in. Keep going, keep planting, keep dreaming for a better future. You’ll grow, regardless of the outcome. And sometimes, that growth is exactly what you need to see your dreams through.

If you want to learn skills on staying embodied with your Truth as you face obstacles, I am offering a live workshop on Sat, 5/2 from 12-2pm EST called, "Stay Embodied While the World Burns: Boundaries that Allow Care Without Collapse". Join us?

What is this Teaching Me

When life feels like it’s throwing obstacle after obstacle your way, it’s easy to feel defeated. But what if instead of pushing back, you decided to lean in? Ask yourself, "What is this moment trying to teach me?" Even if you can’t see the end result yet, trust that something meaningful will always come from it.

I'm not saying to bypass the pain; instead, harness it.

You’ll grow, whether it’s in strength, clarity, or resilience. That growth is everything, because it always leads to you. Keep going. You're worth the effort.

If you want specific guidance on how to harness your pain, I'm offering a live workshop on Sat, 5/2 from 12-2pm EST. You know where to look.

When something triggers or activates you intensely, take a step back and ask yourself: Is this connected to something from my past?

The more intense the reaction, the further back to look.

Without conscious awareness, we often bring past fears and unresolved emotions into our present moment—impacting how we perceive the present moment.

But here’s the thing: making decisions from the present moment, free from past baggage, feels lighter and less pressured in the body.

When we allow ourselves to process the past, integrate the lesson, and let go of what doesn’t serve us, we become more present for those we love.

Make decisions based on where you are today, not from all the things that didn’t work before. You and those you care about deserve clarity and ease.

I’m teaching how to do this at my next workshop, called “Stay Embodied While the World Burns: Boundaries that Allow Care Without Collapse”

I don’t know how and I don’t know why, but I know this in my core: when we center the needs of the most marginalized, we take care of everyone.

I used to feel shame about having nice things when others don’t, but now I know better.

Shame about that inequality should not take up space or energy in my body. It’s the wrong location and only renders you exhausted by fighting with yourself internally.

Shame belongs in/on the system that forces us to choose between centering our comfort over the needs of the (global) majority.

Instead, I’ve learned to harness the emotions into sustainable and heart centered action.

Im sharing it at my next workshop on 5/2 from 12-2. Stay Embodied While the World Burns: Boundaries That Allow Care Without Collapse (Link in Comments)

Consider attending and share with those who want to care for our precious communities. The more people alongside you with these tools, increases the impact for positive change.

You're not "too sensitive."

Your nervous system is overwhelmed by a world that won't stop — and you're still trying to show up, stay informed, and care.

But exhaustion, shutdown, rage, and anxiety aren't character flaws. They're what happens when collective trauma is constant and your body never gets to fully process.

Swipe through → because the answer isn't to log off or stop caring.

It's to learn how to stay without collapsing.

That's exactly what we're doing in my live workshop on May 2.

I recently got some medication to deal with my intense anxiety that got re-triggered due to ICE.

My P*P asked, "What stressors are you facing right now?"

"The state of the world."

Her response: "Yeah, but what else?"

"Carrying my passport around with me."

[Raised eyebrow]

"Um... Menopause?"

Her: "Mm-hmmm..."

Needless to say, I left the appointment feeling like I was too sensitive and wasn't trying hard enough to manage my mental health.

If you've been dealing with anxiety, burnout or overwhelm, I am here to tell you this:

You are not too sensitive.

You are responding exactly how a nervous system responds when it’s exposed to sustained distress without enough protection or processing.

The problem isn’t that you feel too deeply.

The problem is you were never taught how to filter, metabolize, and release what you feel.

So I created a workshop for us. (Link in comments.)

Hope to see you there.

In love & solidarity,

Judy

This is the open letter to the US from the President of Irna posted on X.

Please stay informed and act/behave/see from your heart.

The Truth, while uncomfortable sometimes, can guide you. The truth can be felt in your body when you learn to discern truth from story, when you shed all the inherited trauma from your nervous system, and when you sit in enough silence to hear your Soul whispering to you.

Love you.

Healing Collective Trauma Requires a Group Container

I stopped "doing" trauma therapy, because transformation took too long. Boundary Healing views you as whole and perfect as you are without a neutral sounding board. We locate and disentangle the adaptions and masking your body took on to survive. As a child in your family and as a marginalized member of the collective where power and resource hoarding preceded human care.

In my Cycle Breaker Groups, we center your care so you can mature into your Functional Adult and embody what it means to be fully human. (hint: you learn stop tolerating low grade misery, which means your life starts unfolding in a different way.)
