Replying to Parents put your credit cards away and set boundaries you and your kids need this season. Prioritize your mental health and financial security. No one else is looking out for that but you. That is true wealth: your health, your loved ones, especially YOU. It’s hard to deny your kids what they want, but it’s the good hard. They need you less stressed and more present.

Stressed this holiday season? Of course you are. New research shows that the new poverty line for a family of 4 in the US is closer to $140k, when you factor in increase of food, housing, childcare and healthcare. The govt says is $32k, but that’s at starvation levels.

STOP internalizing that you’re the problem. You’re NOT. Zoom out. Nothing wrong with you; nothing wrong with them (partner, boss, kid, colleague). What’s the data telling you? Write it in the comments.

If the 🧊raids are triggering for you, consider if you have connection to similar violence in your ancestry.

Connecting the two and grieving the past experiences will provide relief to your nervous system since part of you is stuck in the past. That relief will allow you to be present and embodied now to respond appropriately to what is happening around you.

To support your nervous system, this is a clip from one of my weekly Cycle Breaker group coaching programs. (Client consented to share this coaching.)

Her ancestry is in Vietnam and suffered greatly during the Vietnam War.

This coaching allowed her body to get out of freeze and flight. May it offer you a way thru yours so that you may be fully present to what is happening around you. ❤️‍🔥

Replying to Your body has the answer. If you can’t say “No” due to guilt and betrayal, then keep zooming out until you can find where the suppression and oppressions started.

Why? When you get to the root cause—the inherited ancestral trauma—reconnecting your body to that history can release the impact from your body. My step by step process I walk thru every week with my Cycle Breakers and with my short term clients holds the key to unlock your freedom and break the stress cycle.

Emotional boundaries are your sense of self, which is established in young childhood. If your nervous system was primed to please or calm your parent’s reaction to you then your nervous system will attract relationships with similar dynamics.

Replying to Anger needs to be harnessed and used safely and strategically. If your feeling empathetic rage and guilt, it’s information that you know you need to do something. Keep it small and within your control. Microdose the action so your nervous system can handle it and not go into overwhelm and shut down.

When you channel the anger for good, you grow your capacity to show up in your fullest expression. Embodied boundaries give you healthy self esteem, pride, and purpose. Let me know actions you can take to channel that anger.

If it’s blind rage and it’s scary, reach out bc it’s connected to your ancestry. Uncovering it will inform and guide you. 👉🏽👉🏽
