Camden Family Health is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with Mt. Nebo, Mt. Lookout, Zela, Glade Creek and Birch River Schools in the Nicholas County, WV area through the use of the Mobile Medical Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling.

Responsibilities
Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and other treatments
Provide patient education and counseling
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of care
Requirements
Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of West Virginia
Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Student Loan Reimbursement through NHSC

Camden Family Health will be offering first aid services, free Naloxone (Narcan), free covid tests, and handing out information on our services from 8am to 4pm from our mobile health unit in the lower parking area of our office in Richwood on August 2nd during the Cherry River Festival. The Main Street office will be closed for regular services on this day.

Camden Family Health will be doing sports physicals at Webster County High School on Thursday, July 31st. Physicals are free and are available to any students that need them. The office will be open 8:00am-2:00pm. Remember all high school and middle school sports, band, and little league football and cheer require a physical to participate. You do not need an appointment, and we have physical forms.
