Today, hospital and EMS healthcare leaders from across Southwest Arkansas met in Hope, Arkansas as the Southwest Arkansas Healthcare Consortium with a shared goal: partnering together to better serve the citizens and communities of our region while supporting long-term healthcare stability.

Through open discussion and collaboration, these leaders are focused on strengthening healthcare across Southwest Arkansas today and into the future.

We would like to recognize and thank our hospital and EMS partners who participated in today’s meeting:

OCMC Auxiliary held their Annual Christmas quarterly meeting. Community giving was for the Women's Crisis Center. Members brought personal products and had the opportunity to make a monetary donation. The WCC lost federal/state funding. $411.00 was raised at the meeting. The Auxiliary matched member's donations up to $250.00 for a total donation of $661.00, plus 2 boxes of personal products. Members signed a placement and TIna Raine and Linda Passafiume delivered the check and products after the meeting.
OCMC Auxiliary held their Annual Christmas meeting December 11th. 17 members attended. The guest speaker was Connie Davis from Infection Control/Quality. A regular meeting agenda followed. Many of the members dressed in their Christmas finest. Candy bags, bingo and a raffle followed a delicious meal provided by Nutrition Services-turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, green beans, cranberries, and pecan pie for dessert. MERRY CHRISTMAS from the OCMC Auxiliary to yours!!! (Tina Raine was taking pictures but she was there).
