💭 Recovery Thought from Deuteronomy 8
In recovery, it’s easy to remember God in the wilderness — when we’re broken, lost, and desperate. But Deuteronomy 8 warns us: don’t forget Him when life gets good. When we’re delivered, blessed, and no longer fighting for survival, it’s tempting to drift.
📖 “Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness… to humble and test you…” — Deut. 8:2
📖 “Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God…” — Deut. 8:11
📖 “You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this for me,’ but remember the Lord your God…” — Deut. 8:17–18
Let’s stay surrendered, stay grateful, and never forget the pit He pulled us from. Deliverance is not the end …it’s the beginning of our assignment. 🙌🏻
