Well that’s a wrap!! 🎬 Congrats to these fabulous couples on completing their HypnoBirthing course! 👏🏾🎊🥳🎉 Here’s what one momma said: “I feel like I learned skills that aren’t only going to help me give birth, but have also helped me manage stress and anxiety with in my life. The beginning of my pregnancy was definitely rough both physically and emotionally but I really feel like your class completely helped me turn all that around and has helped make my pregnancy so much more enjoyable. Thank you SO MUCH for that. I really can’t express my gratitude and how much I appreciate having you during this life changing experience.” 🤩🤩🤩

Posted • There is a common belief in obstetrics that longer head-to-body delivery intervals increase risk of harm to the baby. So, after the baby’s head is born, providers will often “worry & hurry,” pulling on the head gently but urgently to try and cause the birth of the rest of the baby’s body without waiting for another contraction to occur. This is called one-step delivery.

In normal physiologic birth, the baby’s head is born, there is a pause, and then the rest of the baby is born with the next contraction. This is called two-step delivery. Without intervention, the baby’s shoulders and trunk are not often born during the same contraction as the head. Two-step birth is common in midwifery practice.

Recent evidence suggests that the one-step approach to birth may increase the risk of harm to the baby and increase the risk of shoulder dystocia (stuck shoulders). In fact, researchers think speeding up birth with gentle pulling before the next contraction could be partly responsible for the increasing rate of shoulder dystocia. Resting between contractions may give time for the baby’s shoulders to spontaneously rotate and orient themselves for birth.

A growing body of research suggests the two-step delivery process is safest for babies. Which do you see more often in your area? One-step or two-step delivery?

Such power!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Posted • ~BIRTH REVELATIONS~

Melanated Queen, don't ever forget that YOU ARE POWERFUL.

Birth will reveal your fears.
It reveals your insecurities and your doubts.
But, upon meeting face to face with such powerful emotions, you'll also meet the Real YOU...
The Fearless YOU.
The Primitive YOU.
The Untamed YOU.
The Unconditioned YOU.
The Awakened YOU.
The LIONESS YOU.

The first hands your baby feels SHOULD BE YOURS. No other mammal let others touch their babies before them...some would even go as far as eating their babies if anyone else dare to touch.
Don't let them diminish your primal/animalistic instincts while you give birth. EVER.
👶🏾💦🤰🏾☺️♥️

Y’all my oldest baby is about to be 10 next month and I just realized that I took HypnoBirthing as a 1st time pregnant mom this time 10 years ago ago🤰🏾😳
I remember feeling super amped to start class...I knew in my heart that an unmedicated birth was the best option for me and my baby. None of my friends at the time had had “natural” births and everyone thought I was 🤯, but I believed I could do it! I remember soaking everything up I learned in class and taking notes on everything my instructor, Care, would say...I still have all my notes from class! 📝
At that time, I couldn’t have imagined the impact HypnoBirthing would have on my life...I ended up having the birth of my dreams👩🏾‍🍼but I would’ve never guessed that I would still be sharing it with other nervous moms 10 years later!
I’m forever grateful to Care with for empowering me all those years ago!! ❤️

I remember feeling super amped to start class, as I had resolved in my heart that an unmedicated birth was the best option for me and my baby. None of my friends at the time had had “natural” births and everyone thought I had lost my mind 🤯, but I believed I could do it so I knew I needed some tools to get me ready and prepped. I remember soaking up everything I learned in class and taking notes on everything my instructor, Care, would say...I still even have my notes from class! 📝
At that time, I couldn’t have imagined the impact HypnoBirthing would have on my life...I ended up having the birth of my dreams👩🏾‍🍼but I would’ve never guessed that I would still be sharing it with other nervous, unsure moms 10 years later!
I’m forever grateful to Care with for empowering me all those years ago!! ❤️❤️❤️

Reminiscing about that time I was pregnant with my 3rd baby in Japan 🇯🇵...I wanted to take some amazing pics since this would be my first and only daughter (we have 4 boys and 1 girl)...I knew I wanted a yellow dress 🌼, sunset 🌅 and Mt. Fuji 🗻in the background. I remember feeling so fabulous during that entire pregnancy! 🤰🏾🥰
