“I arrived in December 2025 and at first, I was hesitant in staying at the nursing home. I wanted to go home and did not want to participate in therapy or interacting with others. I met some great ladies, and my caretakers brought me out of my shell. I became more open with everyone and slowly started to get to know everyone. I started to agree with therapy services, and they have helped me to be steady on my feet and have made my balance even better. Even though I am here for long term I am no longer sad about staying and the girls make my days better with their joyful singing (even though they should keep their day jobs) and they all know how to put a smile on my face!” – Anonymous

“I came to the nursing home in Feb ’26 after not being able to take care of myself at home. With the help of therapy and the encouragement from the staff, I have since been able to dress myself, walk with a walker and assistance from others, and have been able to meet some interesting people. I have made friends while being at the nursing home that I will miss when I do go home, but I know they will always have a place in my heart. The staff are amazing and have pushed me each and every day for the better so that I may go home safely. I have enjoyed my time with therapy, and one of the therapists, Matt, pushes me each day to be stronger and I can’t thank him enough. I understand that each place has rules and expectations, but I know that it’s to keep us safe. I have loved my stay with the facility, and I know if I need to come back I will.” – Scott

We celebrated Karaoke Day + National Peanut Butter & Jelly Day + Ride a Horse Day all in one fun-filled event!
