Lary’s office is located at 38 Curtis Avenue in Camden, Maine. FAAO, Dr. Elizabeth Neville, O.D., and Dr. Nathan Neville, O.D. Lary is a Maine native who received a Bachelor of Arts from Colby College in 1978 and a Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry (NEWENCO) in 1982. His residencies were at the Dorchester Eye Clinic, the Joslin Diabetic Center, and the NEWENCO Pediat
ric Clinic all located in Boston, Massachusetts. From 1982 to 1993 he practiced with an eye surgeon in Lewiston, Maine and lectured extensively on eye disease management for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. From 1993 to present Dr. Lary has been in private practice in Camden, Maine where he lives with his family. In 2001, Dr. Lary received his advanced therapeutic glaucoma license from the Maine Board of Optometry, which is the highest level optometric license available. He is a member of the Maine Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. In the summer of 2016, Dr. Lary hired an associate optometrist, Dr. Elizabeth Neville. Dr. Elizabeth Neville, O.D. received her Bachelor of Science in 2001 from the University of Florida and Doctorate of Optometry, with honors, in 2008 from New England College of Optometry. She completed her residency training at the Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Gainesville, FL and went on to practice with the VA for three years. Dr. Neville then joined the eye care team at MCR Health Services, a community health center in Bradenton, FL. Dr. Elizabeth Neville is a member of the American Optometric Association. As of 2016 she has eight years of experience in ocular disease, dry eye disease, pediatric eye care, contact lens fitting, and more. In September 2017 Dr. Nathan Neville joined the practice of Dr. Steven P. Lary. Dr. Nathan Neville, O.D., graduated from Camden-Rockport High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University in 2004. He graduated from the New England College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry and Masters of Vision Science in 2008. He completed his residency training at the Bill Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC and went on to practice at the Manatee County Rural Health Services, served as an Associate Clinical professor at Western University-College of Optometry and an associate clinical educator at NOVA Southeaster U-College of Optometry. Dr. Nathan Neville is a member of the American Optometric Association and Maine Optometric Association. He has nine years of experience in ocular disease, dry eye disease, pediatric eye care, contact lens fitting, and more.
