LaFaithe the Service Dog Faithe & Dusty are Yorkshire Terrier(Yorkie). they are trained to alert to my many medical issues.

We have had a stressful and exciting week. Dusty is staying on top of me. I'm hoping things will get better.

I'm beginning to hate April. I had to bring mom into the ER. She is complaining of chest pain. She had a fall the other day. I'm thinking she might have hurt a rib. But to be on the safe side, to the ER we go. Well, we did not know that our ER ,that is being remodel ,was now open. As we walked up to the door and it open, Dusty stopped. Would not go any further. She sniffed the air and looked at me. I realized that all the new building smells were over whelming. With reassurance, Dusty walked in. Looks like I found something else to work on training her for. I'll up date everyone on LaVonne when we know something. If yall could pay for our family please.

During our trip home, Chris took this photo. Dusty came over to alert me, but I informed her we were almost there. When she looked back at Chris, her worry was evident. This past month has been incredibly taxing. Our little dog has shown remarkable fortitude, coping with surgery, homestead responsibilities, and life's numerous challenges, including Faithe's passing and Whiskey's goodbye. Reaching my breaking point yesterday resulted in more than just a meltdown. It's amazing how much a good old fashion crying can do for your soul. I'm incredibly proud of how Dusty has stepped up.

Faithe's emergence as my service dog was a testament to her loyalty and intuition. After my thyroidectomy, on the second night post-surgery, Faithe's persistent barking pierced through my disorientation. As I prepared for bed, feeling unwell, she refused to settle, knocking the Ambian pill from my hand and nipping at me when I tried to retrieve it. Chris's calm and observant nature allowed him to recognize Faithe's attempts to alert me to a critical situation. When I checked my vitals, my blood sugar had dropped to 43. Faithe had sensed the gravity of the situation, and her actions saved my life. This moment marked a profound shift in our relationship, as I began to understand Faithe's purpose. With Chris and Doc B's support, I learned to trust Faithe, and she rapidly progressed through her training. Though I took longer to adjust to our new dynamic, I eventually grew confident in Faithe's abilities, and she became an invaluable companion.
Now you know how Faithe came into my life. And how she chose her role in my life. Next I'll share some of our more memorable adventures.

Faithe is at peace now. She can run and play and chase lizards till her little heart is content.
No more pain. Faithe will be missed dearly by many who knew her.
My heart breaks but I know i had 15 great yrs with her. You will live forever in my heart little dog.
Thank you for watching over me and saving my life so many times. Rest in peace baby girl.
