Residents of Lake Parke recently took to the virtual skies with Captain Kerry at the helm, flying to Switzerland for their second virtual trip. The journey included an engaging Q&A session, with a resident sharing insights from a previous visit, and it was discovered that multiple residents had explored Switzerland before. The trip featured Switzerland's national anthem, historical anecdotes, traditional dances, and culinary delights like Fondue, Raclette, Rosti, and Toblerone chocolate. One resident shared souvenirs from her trip and delighted the group with a live horn performance. The experience was truly memorable, and we look forward to our next virtual journey to Japan. A big thank you to the team that helped put this together, Raquel, Sunni, Cyndi for preparing the food and our Captain.

The Dogwood Parade was a fantastic celebration, with residents and the community in attendance. The King and Queen were resplendent, and Greedy was also able to participate in the parade festivities. The Vintage group was a compelling attraction, and thanks are due to all those who helped make the event possible.
