Franklin Graham, son the great Billy Graham, is calling for a time of prayer for our nation today at NOON EST, so 9 am PST, He said:

“As a nation, our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face. Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets."

Today is an important day and it should be a holiday. Christians need to express their voice in the public square. No where in the Bible does it say to hide your head in the sand and allow evil to rule you. We are tasked with keeping our nation humble. Voting is a way to call out to pride-filled politicians that enough is enough. Stop taking our country on a path of both worldly and Heavenly destruction.

Happy Constitution Day to all Americans. This is the date the U.S. Constitution was signed. There is a federal mandate from decades ago that requires federally funded educational institutions to recognize and teach about the Constitution today. I am proud to say that 2 of 3 the MLUSD schools have Constitution Day activities planned for today: Charles Brown Learning Academy and Herbert Green Middle School. I will continue to push for the third school to participate next year. Please help bring awareness to this important day!
