Happy Constitution Day to all Americans. This is the date the U.S. Constitution was signed. There is a federal mandate from decades ago that requires federally funded educational institutions to recognize and teach about the Constitution today. I am proud to say that 2 of 3 the MLUSD schools have Constitution Day activities planned for today: Charles Brown Learning Academy and Herbert Green Middle School. I will continue to push for the third school to participate next year. Please help bring awareness to this important day!

California Assembly Bill 495 is the worst bill to ever come through our state. It will be on the governor's desk for him to sign it into law in just a few weeks. Pray this can be stopped. It is written very poorly such that it is way overly broad to cover ANY CHILD and anyone who signs the affidavit from the state's website can then walk into the school or daycare, or Boys and Girls Club, and take your child. Not just children of illegal migrants, but YOUR CHILD. It also gives that person broad authority over health care decisions for the child they take. Hmmmmm, why is that needed?
The person does not need to be related to the child. They don't even need to know the child, so long as they sign the affidavit. This law will totally dissolve parents rights and standing with their own children. Schools will not be able to say no.
I agree with Pastor Jack Hibbs, if this bill is signed into law, get your children out of California asap.
The only good news is that if it is signed into law, I don't see any way Newsom would be elected President in 2028.
