Lloyd Henning Fredrickson, 83, of Cameron passed away on July 10th, 2025. He was born January 7th, 1942 to Henning & Esther Fredrickson in LaGrange, IL. He graduated in 1959 from Lions Township in LaGrange. His family moved from LaGrange in 1959 and built the Motel Viking (where the current Kwik Trip in Cameron is located). He met his future wife, Eileen Baukol, roller skating at Rainbow Gardens in Rice Lake and they were married in Reeve, WI on November 2nd, 1963. In addition to helping run the motel, he and his father worked together doing masonry work in the area. Lloyd continued this career after selling the motel in 1976. Lloyd was a member of the Wisconsin and Minnesota Bricklayers Associations, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship. Lloyd was a proud member of the Blue Hills Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Elks Club USA of Rice Lake and Zor Shrine Club for 50+ years. He took great pride in giving back to his community. He was involved in the Shrine Horse Pulls and numerous fundraising meals. If you were a 4th grader at Cameron Elementary, you may remember the joy of attending the Shrine Circus — thanks to Lloyd’s generosity and dedication, he helped make it possible for countless children to experience those special moments, personally ordering the tickets and sharing the cost with fellow Cameron-area Shriners. He was an active member of the Blue Hills Rod and Gun Club, a place he considered his second home. Lloyd spent countless hours there enjoying cast bullet shooting, trap shooting and participating in many cowboy shoots over the years. He especially loved visiting with the guys and gals at the gun club — the friendships and stories shared there were some of his favorite times. He was one of the first to try out the all-terrain wheelchair at the gun club, making his first TV debut test-driving one of these special chairs — a moment that brought him great joy. Lloyd’s love for the outdoors was clear to all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time at his hunting cabin near Birchwood with his friends and the boys (aka his Wolf Pack) and took many memorable trips to Canada fishing with good friends. In 2011 and 2013, Lloyd enjoyed trips to Argentina to dove hunt with friends. These times brought him great happiness and lifelong memories. Lloyd’s Scandinavian heritage was also very important to him. He traveled several times to the “old country” — Sweden and Norway — with his wife and good friends, Dennis and Florence Weise, cherishing every connection to his family roots. The family wishes to thank the staff at Barron Care and Rehab and Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake Hospice for the compassionate care and the friendships they developed with Lloyd. Their kindness and support will always be remembered. Those who knew Lloyd will remember his dedication to his community, pride in his heritage, his passion for shooting sports and most of all, the deep love and pride he had for his family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 61 years: Eileen, daughter & son-in-law: Lisa & Rick Walther (Cameron), two granddaughters and their husbands: Rebecca & Josh Malsom (Cameron) and Anna & Charlie Roherty (Rice Lake), three great-grandchildren: Aria Malsom, Rowen & Keeley Roherty and his extended “Baukol” family. They will forever cherish his stories, laughter, and unwavering support. He was preceded in death by his parents Henning & Esther Fredrickson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Blue Hills Masonic Center in Rice Lake on Sunday, July 20th from 1-4 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date in the Wayside Cemetery in Barron. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.

She loved her students, who she referred to as her kids. After her retirement, she rearranged the upstairs of her farmhouse to accommodate any children who wanted to be tutored. She loved beauty in all forms, especially flowers. From the wildflowers she picked in the woods for her May wedding to the Hollyhocks that surrounded her house, her life was filled with flowers.

Bill was born to Leslie (Sonny) and Marlys ( Mork, Eckerman, TenEyck) in Hennepin County Minnesota on January 12th, 1958. Bill grew up on a 90-acre farm in Hawkins Wisconsin with his mother, stepfather & many siblings. Bill helped on the farm tending to many kinds of animals. It was here on the farm and at a young age that Bill took an interest in "tinkering." He took apart and put back together everything he could get his hands on; cars, trucks, tractors, small engines, vacuum cleaners, washing machines, anything with a motor, you name it. Over the years, he got more than one of the old vehicles on the farm running & he would tote his siblings around the property, taking them on adventures! He spent his summers fishing & picking berries. When the family had their share, Bill and his siblings were allowed to pick extra berries to sell on the roadside to make extra money so they could attend the local fair. Bill became a jack of many trades, but in his working years, he spent a majority of his time as a pipe fitter with American Steel. He also worked in the refinery and as a mechanic. Bill was always buying junkers, fixing them up and selling them for a little more money. Bill always had a boat. He spent a lot of time on the water with his sister, Sandra, and her husband, nieces & nephews, and his own wife and kids. One of the best things about Bill was his dedication to helping others.
