This is miss Betty, a three year old plow horse. In February she had a fall and injured her shoulder. A break was ruled out but she was three-legged lame and not improving. I was actually called out for another horse, when I saw her in the barn I couldn’t help but convince them to give Magnawave a try.
March 14th we started sessions. In the second picture you can see she’s holding her leg bent, that was her at all times- no weight. (Sorry no video, it was tough to watch and didn’t think to video it)
March 17th is the 3rd picture, she was weight bearing (although would shift weight off pretty quickly) but her standing like a normal horse was huge! Video in comments of starting to use leg but shifting weight.
March 31st is the video of her walking in the barn in the comments. It was absolutely incredible to see her walking sound, full weight bearing so soon. She does have some muscle atrophy but is getting stronger every day. I am so grateful for this ‘job’ and feel so lucky to be able to help these animals heal 〽️❤️🩹
