We are honored to announce that we have a new therapist working at Sirianna Relationship & S*x Therapy. Briana Davis enjoys working with individuals and couples and we are beyond excited to have her on our team! Here is a little bit about Briana:

Briana Davis, M.A.

I believe the foundation of a fulfilling life is built on the quality of our connections. Whether you’re navigating communication barriers, exploring s*xual identity, or rediscovering intimacy, I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space to untangle relationship complexities. Working through an attachment-based lens, I help individuals and couples foster deeper understanding and emotional empowerment.

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Penn State Harrisburg, where my research focused on CBT for LGBTQ+ older adults. My professional background as a Clinical Forensic Associate provides me with a steady, discerning perspective on complex human challenges. I take a holistic, trauma-informed approach to help clients navigate their unique journeys toward intimacy. I am currently pursuing licensure under the supervision of Andreya Jones Sirianna, Ph.D., LCSW, CST.

Personally, I find balance through marathon training and exploring nature through hiking and travel. An avid reader, I enjoy a mix of clinical educational texts and escaping into dystopian or fantasy worlds. I am a devoted cat lover and live in Central PA with my fiancé, Ben, and our three cats.

At Sirianna Relationship & S*x Therapy we know how busy life can get with work, families, animals, and kids. We know that it can be difficult to make time for therapy and/or working on your mental health. We are a practice that welcomes you no matter what you have going on in your life. We aim to make it as easy as possible to obtain the care that you need. If you are a new parent and need to bring your baby to therapy, if you have a new pet that makes you feel calmer and you want to bring them, or if you need to do a video session because getting out of bed is too hard we’ve got no problem meeting you exactly where you are. We believe that in a busy world, flexibility is key! We will do our best to make it as easy as possible to get the encouragement or help that you need.

How therapy heals (even if you’re skeptic)

Therapy has often gotten a bad rep of something that is needed when there is something “wrong”. Often times, skepticism comes from a misunderstanding of what therapy is or looks like. Some believe that therapy is only used when there is a crisis, treatment of mental health, or need to fix issues with individuals or relationships.
Therapy is so much more than that. It’s used for growth, finding the best version of yourself, and strengthening relationships. Yes, it does mean an opportunity to be vulnerable, to process through unresolved issues, and to transform in a way that you want to see.
Taking the first step may seem intimidating, but “change does not happen in comfortability.” Going to therapy does not mean you’re broken. It means you care about yourself and relationships and are willing to experience healing, growth, and transformation.
Just a few benefits of therapy are:
Improves Mental Health
Personal Growth
Emotional Healing
Understanding Yourself Better
Improves Communication Skills
Reduces Stress and Anxiety

If you are still not sure about the idea of therapy, I challenge you to think of it as an investment in yourself. Therapy is not just for fixing what is broken, but also for building onto to something that’s already there to make it stronger, more resistant, and more aware. Through therapy, you can develop the tools to assist in facing oncoming challenges with confidence and self-awareness. If you have any questions about therapy or want to know more please reach out to us as any of our practitioners would love to talk with you and your possible interest in starting your exciting journey!

One of the topics we tackle in therapy is infidelity. A common theme that comes out of infidelity is the fear of moving through/past it. When someone experiences the pain of infidelity it can be difficult to stop focusing on what happened, asking questions about what happened, and not going back to the evidence of what happened. Unfortunately, when you keep reliving the pain it doesn’t allow you to move forward or heal. Most of the infidelity that we come in contact with today happens on social media or phones. People who are cheated on rarely want to delete the evidence or proof of the affair. They continuously go back to it and read it. While I understand why they do this, I also know that it keeps the infidelity and pain alive. As someone who has been on both sides of this situation I understand the pain of being cheated on and being the cheater. Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves in this situation is to take our power back by not returning to the scene of the crime repeatedly. No matter how much you think about it or investigate what happened you will never get the full story. You will never understand or get all of the answers. You cannot change what happened. All you can change is what comes next. I know infidelity is a difficult situation to go through no matter what side of the story you are on. I encourage you to own your story and learn from it. If you are struggling to heal from infidelity we would love to walk with you on that journey.

We are excited to announce that we have a new s*x and relationship coach starting at Sirianna Relationship & S*x Therapy. Please join me in welcoming Erin Rosen to our team. Here is a little bit about Erin:

As a s*xuality coach, I bring a vibrant, approachable energy to the often complex conversations around intimacy and relationships. I meet clients exactly where they are, creating a safe and supportive space to explore their desires, challenges, and goals. With equal parts expertise, compassion, and playfulness, I guide individuals and couples through the nuances of s*xuality—helping them build confidence, strengthen connection, and embrace their authentic selves. My work is rooted in the belief that s*xuality is not just about pleasure, but also about personal growth, healing, and self-discovery. By breaking down taboos and making space for honest conversations, I empower clients to create relationships—and a relationship with themselves—that feel fulfilling, joyful, and deeply authentic.

Drawing on both education and lived experience, I encourage curiosity and self-compassion as essential tools for navigating s*xuality. Whether clients are working through challenges, seeking to deepen intimacy, or simply hoping to reconnect with their own sense of desire, I provide guidance that is practical, affirming, and tailored to their unique journey. At its core, my work is about reminding people that they are not broken, that their desires are valid, and that embracing their full selves can be a powerful pathway to connection and freedom.

As we enter this holiday season, I want to remind you that just because you grew up with someone or they share your last name does not give them permission to hurt you. While many people love spending time with their families during the holiday season, others struggle to be around family. Everyone's experience is valid. If spending time with family is difficult for you, I encourage you to create a self-care plan to help alleviate some of the stress. Identify some grounding techniques that you could use if you need to calm down or take a break. If you are traveling for the holidays, bring something from home that is soft, comforting, or calming. This could be your favorite pajamas, a comfy blanket, or your favorite album to listen to. If you need to take a break, give yourself permission to do so. When you are regulated and centered, you can handle situations much better.

For individuals who live for the holidays and love spending time with loved ones, I encourage you to come up with an after-care plan for after the holidays. Many people experience a sad feeling when the holidays are over. Plan something to look forward to after the holidays and/or take some time to reacclimate back into your regular routine. No matter what your holiday season looks like, we wish you all laughter and growth as we enter this new year.

I really appreciated being invited back to teach at Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center today. It was such a privilege to speak with and educate some of the up and coming medical professionals. We talked about s*x therapy, pleasure, s*xual dysfunction, and how to work in a triadic model. I adore teaching and can’t wait to go back.
