Hi, everyone! My apologies if I have seemed less brisky responsive this past week or so. But I am pleased to announce that I just submitted the final draft of my book "Nursing Pharmacology: An Active learning Approach to Safe & Effective Practice," to be released by Cognella Academic Publishing in spring 2026. It was quite a heavyt lift, especially these last 2 weeks. But I'm back now, and I'll be attending to a few administrative patient care issues starting tomorrow.

There's a lot I'm unhappy about with the current administration, but lest we forget: not every idea is bad, just because "those guys" thought of it first. Having been in this industry for 41+ years, I can testify first-hand understanding of how this industry influence game works. I'm not wild about every cockamaime idea that comes out of RFKJ's mouth, but he's not WRONG.

Notice to my patients: It's summer & time to recharge! My last day in the office will be TUESDAY July 30th. Following, I will be away on vacation, reachable on a limited basis through Sunday August 18th. I will NOT be reachable at all August 1st-5th. For urgent medical needs please reach out to your regular doctor, an urgent care center, or emergency department. Office hours will resume TUESDAY August 20th, when the semester begins. I'll return to regular Wednesday hours August 28th. Stay hydrated! 😎
