The Records Custodian will continue to maintain your records in accordance with applicable confidentiality and security standards and with other applicable laws. Your records will be destroyed seven years after the date of office closing. If you wish to have your records sent to you or to another provider or facility, you may contact the Records Custodian:

Due to the current pandemic we are only see post-procedure patients and patients with urgent issues. We want everyone to be safe and to minimize interactions with others, especially those over 60 and those with underlying medical issues which is the case with so many of our patients. If you were thinking about scheduling an appointment we would be happy to take your information and get you scheduled as soon as we have a better idea of when it will be safe to do so. Plastic surgeon's office, one physician. You will be the sole employee, responsible for:

Opening and closing office
Answering phones: scheduling appointments, fielding patient questions, interacting with doctor’s offices, hospitals, vendors
Checking patients in and out, assisting with paperwork, collecting copays and payments
Verifying patient insurance, deductibles, copays, surgery preauthorizations
Scheduling surgery and preparing paperwork
Rooming patients
Enforcing HIPAA
Sending labs, pathology
Coordinating with outside biller
Making and maintaining charts (we use paper charts not EMR)
Filing, faxing, scanning
JOB REQUIREMENTS

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Extremely detail-oriented
Ability to multi-task
Organized
Experience working with insurance companies
Good customer service skills
Able to work independently
Adept with Microsoft Word, Excel, internet and general computer skills
Job Type: Permanent part-time position, hours are Monday 9:30am-7pm, Tuesday 8:30am-5pm, and Thursday 8:30am-5pm with possibility for overtime, benefits include paid vacation and sick days.
