2025 ✨

What a year! I had the honor and privilege of helping 17 families in there pregancy & birth journey. For someone who only worked half the year I was actually shocked at this number 😂

2025 was BUSY. Wrapping up our time in FL ( attending my last birth 5 days before we moved 🤪) moving back to NC & then welcoming sweet baby Elaina this year was deffintley jam packed.

I’ve learned and grown so much. I advanced my education in the home birth world as a birth worker & birthing person. Every single birth I attended was filled with love, amazing providers ( FL really has it going on) and then being able to wrap up the year with my second home birth really solidified God’s attention to detail and just how amazing his plan is for me!

2026 will look different, I don’t have births on the books for clients. I do have a few special people in my life that are expecting and i can’t wait to share my knowledge & craft with them.

This season looks different ( for now) but you can find me teaching classes, and enjoying the slower pace. Our time in NC is short and I know as soon as we leave things will be returning to a new normal. I’m trying to appreciate this time being home with the kidddos, and even if I don’t have a “ full” doula / birth assistant calendar, my heart and hands are full already.

To every single one of you, thank you. Thank you for trusting and believing in me. Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your birth space and I can’t believe this wraps up year number 5 as doula / birth worker. 🥹♥️

Recertified again ✨

I know I’ve been super quiet since moving to NC. But big things have been taking priority and I’m so thankful for all of it.

I recertified again as a birth doula and I’m SO thankful to have continued my education and have the opportunity to be apart of such an amazing organization.

Doula work has taken the back burner for now while we are in our final weeks of meeting our sweet little addition. ( she can make her arrival whenever shes ready) but when I’m back up and ready to take clients I’ll be posting a lot more, I promise.

Thankful for ALL the families I’ve had the honor and privelage to support and hold space for. I keep in touch with most of you, and just know you and your babies are such important parts of my life. Forever thankful. 🥹

Hello Camp Lejeune!

We are officially moved in and ready to start jumping back into the birthing world for all of you expecting families. For those that don't know I am expecting! We are over the moon to be back in NC with family and have a great birthing team to help bring a sweet babygirl into the world come September.

So what does that mean for my expecting mommas? I have opened up class dates & birth planning slots for any momma who wants to maximize their ability to utilize my services to prepare them for birth.

Birth planning - You will gain access to a birth planning platform provided by myself that will help you expand your knowledge on ALL things child birth. We will carefully review your options, go over scenarios, and ways to navigate things that mean the most to you about your upcoming birth.

Childbirth Education class- A 3 hour class designed to help you get a crash course of what your about to go through in the birthing process. This is a couples class, so your spouse/ birthing partner is required to come to maximize the most out of this experience. In this class we will cover Steps of informed decision making, Stages of Labor, Comfort measures, and Labor and pushing positions. This class does talk about the few hours postpartum, and its a hands on course!

After skin to skin and bonding time with mom and dad, big sister Brett was able to come in and meet the newest addition.

They celebrated baby Wesley with presents, kisses and cupcakes. This beautiful family of 4 was now complete. 🥹❤

This is a birth I'll probably never get over. This sweet family never imagined that after their first baby they would have to change how they were going to get there growing family.

God was so intentional with the relationships he allowed Madison to obtain when they met their surrogate. The next 9 months they developed a bond I don't think anyone will be able to quite understand.

I can tell you as there birth photographer the love I saw between two people that may have only been by fate was so overwhelming. To have a women be the vessel to carry a baby, and a beautiful babygirl be born into such a loving family. To watch a mother be able to catch her baby, and bond with her after a long 9 months. It's safe to say there wasn't a dry eye in the room.

I will post in another Big sister Brett meeting her sweet baby sister but this birth deserved a post on it's own. So grateful for the opportunities I'm given. The spaces I'm able to be in, and the love I'm able to bare witness to. Women are amazing and I'll never get over it 🥹

Trusting the natural process and allowing our bodies to take the lead, rather then trying to fight something we had no control over to begin with. Our baby tapping in, working beautifully with our body to be be born at the perfect time.

To surrender. To know it was never up to us to begin with. That is the beauty of childbirth.

Kicking World Doula week off! What an amazing 5 years its been being able to stand beside so many capable women. Forever in awe of the amount of women/ families who have allowed me into their birthing space.

A reminder that this job is not a “ clock in and out of type of job”

We are human, with lives of our own. We dedicate so much time behind the scenes to ensure our clients will be prepared with or without us. It’s extremely hard being in an overly populated community and being the only doula. We try our best to do everything for our clients but there’s alot of times we fall short.

I know this year has been extremely challenging for all of us especially with the Tricare network. Please be patient and understanding ♥️
