CAZSPT Provider Highlight!!!

Danya Weir, PTA, Office Manager, B.S Kinesiological Science

Danya Weir is native to Arizona, born and raised in Camp Verde. She attended The University of Nevada-Las Vegas on a full ride rodeo scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2019. She continued her education at Pima Medical Institute and earned her Physical Therapist Assistant certification and license in 2021.

Danya started her medical career as an intern with David in 2013. With a rodeo background and having gone to school in both Nevada and Arizona, she brings a wealth of knowledge having interned with PT’s across states and working in a developmentally disabled pediatric home health hippotherapy (PT with use of horses). While she enjoys working with all patients, she has a special place in her heart, for rehabilitating our first responders and veterans in her Papa Leroy’s honor. In addition to PT, Danya created and coaches Rampage Softball, a traveling club Softball team and serves as an Assistant Softball coach for Camp Verde High School. When not in the clinic or on the field, you can find her and her Man, fishing and enjoying the outdoors.
