Did you know that the hands, feet, head, and pelvic floor are the key points of the body where stress responses are flooded to? When we are under stress, blood rushes to these areas in preparation for fight or flight. This narrows our mind's perception and limits our awareness.
But we have the power to release this pent-up energy and clear the pathways of our energy body, so regulation within the fascial system can occur. By bringing movement and intentional awareness to our fingers and toes, we can release the energy stored there so pathways can flow throughout the body and brain.
I personally make it a daily practice to attune to my fingers and toes, and sometimes even multiple times a day. Holding each finger and toe for a minute or two can be a powerful way to tune into our energetic system, reconnect to our breath, and expand our awareness and energy body.
