We believe that communication within your body is the key to health, and we’ve dedicated our practice to making sure that our patients are in tune with their well-being and are managing pain in a healthy and natural way. We’ve been in practice for more than 25 years, and we truly love coming into the office every morning. Our team works together as a family, and we like to focus our attention on the littlest members of yours, because starting a healthy lifestyle when you’re young leads to a long and happy life. The word Subluxation has a really poetic meaning that illustrates just how draining it is on the body. "SUB" meaning less than, and "LUXATION" meaning light literally translates to LESS LIGHT 💡.

Our body runs on electricity, which carries important messages from the brain, to the body, and back to the brain.🧠 When that messaging is diminished, our body does not perform as well, we don't express our fullest potential, and we metaphorically have less light (energy). 💪

You might be wondering, what is a SUBLUXATION and why is it so important?! 😳

Turns out the Subluxation is what separates us as Chiropractors from any other profession and is exactly what we aim to detect and correct in the office. Subluxation of the spine and nervous system means a few things:
1. ✅ Structural misalignment of the spine like scoliosis or "hunchback."
2. ✅ Pressure on nerves; diminishing proper nerve flow to all your organs and glands and/or creating radicular and numbing symptoms.
3. ✅ Sympathetic Dominance; Subluxations confuse and stress out the nervous system, leading to symptoms like irritability, restlessness, fatigue, emotional outbursts.

HRV measures the distance between each heartbeat,🫀demonstrating how your heartbeat changes depending on the environment. A healthy HRV is one that is constantly changing, meaning an adaptive nervous system. ✨

The HRV in short measures your nervous system's ability to handle your present load of stress. It will also give you insight on the strength of your parasympathetic nervous system (Brake pedal - Rest and Digest), which is necessary for recovery. 🧘✨
