PROTECTING YOUR CHILD’S VISION DURING COVID-19: LIVE Q&A WEBINAR | SEPT 9, 2020 @ 6PM PST

As students are put into a new situation for schooling called “distance learning,” we have heard from many concerned parents about the potential impact increased screen time will have on their child’s eyes. So we are eager to share with you a webinar by UC Berkeley Optometry happening tomorrow evening.

“The faculty and residents of the Myopia Control Clinic are excited to announce the first free Live Q&A webinar titled “ Protecting Your Child’s Vision During COVID-19”, in which we hope to provide some general visual hygiene recommendations during shelter-in-place, to increase myopia awareness, and to educate parents on the importance of early vision exam, continuous monitoring, as well as timely interventions.

Thank you all for bearing with us during the shelter in place! We are happy to announce that we've reopened and have taken numerous precautions to keep our staff and patients safe. Dear Patients,

In light of the county-wide shut down, our normal operations will be closed for the next two weeks (until May 4). However, we will still be checking the phones, voicemails, and texts so we can address any urgent needs.
