Silicon Valley Sports Medicine is a fun & busy Family & Sports Medicine office in the heart of Silicon Valley looking for someone to join our team as a Medical Assistant, for full time employment (M-F). We are passionate about our patient's health and the relationships we build with them. Come and join us in our brand new office!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Rooming patients
Taking vital signs
Entering pt data into Epic EMR
Performing EKG
Performing urine culture
Assisting with pap tests
Performing blood draws
Administering injections, exam room setup & turnover
Setting up procedure trays
Assisting providers with procedures
Telephone comms with pts, labs, physician offices and ins companies.

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant
Front office/receptionist experience a plus
A passion for primary care & patient relationships
Good communication and interpersonal skills
3+ years of experience
Good team player, good with computers and EMR

COVID-19 Vaccine Update
Santa Clara County Dept of Health is now rolling out the vaccine to those age 75 and older https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/COVID19-vaccine-information-for-public.aspx

At this time, we have not received any guidance on if, or when, our office will receive any vaccines. We have submitted to be included in the distribution of the vaccine, but have no further details.

All of the latest vaccine news we have is on our website and will be updated as more information becomes available.

IF we receive any vaccines to distribute, we will also send an email to all of our patients.

We respectfully request that you do not message, call or text the office with any vaccine related questions as we simply do not have any other information.

Holiday Hours:
In order to help our patients have a happy & healthy holidays, we are open 12/24 and 12/31, but will be closed on Xmas Day and New Year's day.

The office will re-open on Monday, Jan 4th. Please plan accordingly and certainly contact us if we can assist with COVID-19 Rapid Testing or any other medical needs.

We are pleased to offer on-site Acess Bio, Inc. CareStart™ COVID-19 Antigen Rapid test testing. Our rapid test will produce test results in approximately 15 minutes.

The rapid test is an antigen test that is designed to detect proteins from the virus that causes COVID-19 in nasopharyngeal swabs.

All testing (Rapid, PCR or Antibody) starts with a video visit with a provider. That visit will allow your provider to assess your situation and determine clinically appropriate testing based on CDC, state & county guidelines.

You will also determine with your provider an appointment time for your swab (later on that day, or, the next day or two depending upon circumstances). All testing is done from the comfort of your car, in our back parking lot near the medical tent.
